El s\u00e1bado decid\u00ed hacer upgrade a mi Exchange 2007 de pruebas desde SP1 hacia SP2, pens\u00e9 que eso ser\u00eda tan f\u00e1cil como instalarlo pero no fue as\u00ed.<\/p>\n
Todo comenz\u00f3 como un simple error \u201cThis role cannot be installed because the following roles are not current:AdminToolsRole\u201d y termine haciendo cambios en el regedit.<\/p>\n
Instant\u00e1neamente comenc\u00e9 una b\u00fasqueda en Google para ver como resolv\u00eda el problema y as\u00ed encontr\u00e9 una entrada en el Foro de Exchange de Social Technet en Microsoft.com. El problema con la entrada era que ten\u00eda demasiadas respuestas diferentes para solucionar el mismo problema y por eso me tomo m\u00e1s tiempo dar con la soluci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
Lo primero que se debe tener en cuenta es que cuando un upgrade (BuildtoBuildUpgrade) falla, este pone en modo Disable todos los servicios que est\u00e9n relacionados a Exchange y al reiniciar el servidor (en mi caso una VM) terminas sin trafico de correos o nada relacionado al mismo Exchange porque todos sus servicios y relacionados est\u00e1n Disable.<\/p>\n
Para no hacer de esta peque\u00f1a entrada todo un howto de c\u00f3mo solucionar ese problema les posteo aqu\u00ed los pasos que tome para resolverlo.<\/p>\n

Also set World Wide Publishing service, IIS admin, and system control manager (SCOM) to automatic and start them.<\/p>\n
In regedit,\u00a0 go to hklm\\software\\microsoft\\exchange\\v8.0\\mailboxrole\u00a0 and add new string\u00a0value \u00abConfiguredVersion\u00bb with a value that matches the \u00abConfiguredVersion\u00bb in\u00a0 hklm\\software\\microsoft\\exchange\\v8.0\\admintools<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
